A dual study programme clearly stands out from a regular study programme at a university due to the intensive interlocking of theory and practice. In cooperation with Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, we offer the "study with in-depth practice" model.

Our dual study programme is the ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to combine studies and work experience. During your studies at the THI or DHBW, you combine the acquisition of specific technical knowledge with important practical experience and have your contract, including continuous remuneration, with one of the large international retail companies in your pocket. Through intensive support and training, we promote not only your professional competence, but also your social, methodological, and individual competence to a high degree.
You study at a prestigious university and during this time you get to know business life from its most diverse sides. With the Bachelor of Arts, you acquire an internationally recognised university degree. This qualifies you for a wide range of tasks and positions in the company and opens the door to the professional world of MediaMarktSaturn Group.
How does a dual study programme in the "study with in-depth practice" model work at MediaMarktSaturn?
You will start on 1 September with a one-month preliminary internship in our company. You will then start your bachelor's degree at the THI on 1 October and regularly spend your semester breaks and your long practical semester in various departments in the Ingolstadt administration and in a MediaMarkt or Saturn in Germany.
If you decide on a dual study programme in cooperation with the DHBW, the practical and study phases alternate every 3 months.
The combination of practical assignments in our stores and in the administration ensures that you can use the entire time very efficiently.
The study programme with in-depth practice ends after approx. 3.5 years with the bachelor's thesis in the company. Here we offer very exciting topics in different subject areas for a practice-oriented bachelor's thesis.
