Mobility, Flexibility, Networking

We offer first-class conditions to help make our employees’ work routine more productive:

Mobile working

We support a flexible working environment – which is why our employees are equipped with for example laptops, tablets and smartphones to enable mobile working, depending on their responsibilities. VOIP allows them to be reached anywhere in the world on their office phone number. In some places, we have hot-desking, so that staff can choose when they want to work and simply ‘plug in’ at the nearest free desk. This is particularly useful when it comes to collaboration in project teams. And being a modern retailer, staff are allowed to use our communications systems for private calls, too.

Flexible, individual working hours and places

In some areas, you can benefit from various working time models such as trust-base working hours, job-sharing and home office solutions. And various part-time models (including job-sharing and shared-desk solutions) make it easier to reconcile your private life with your career.

Atmosphere

At the MediaMarktSaturn Campus, our employees have a wide range of networking options. For example, meetings can be held in one of the two barista areas. Outside work, we offer all sorts of contact opportunities, such as in our sports programme as well as after-work activities and parties.

Mobility

We want your commute to be as stress-free as possible. For example, we help our employees purchase a discounted Job Ticket from Ingolstadt public transport operator INVG. And we also run our own carpool portal – to link up co-workers driving from the same area.

Personal time out

Under a scheme known as ‘My Personal Time Out’, we offer employees two models for flexible working hours. This is our response to the frequently expressed request for more time – for yourself, your family, further training, or even to live out your dreams! Under ‘My Personal Time Out’, employees can also ‘buy’ up to twelve days of additional holiday every year on top of their annual leave. This ‘sabbatical’ means staff can take up to three months off work at once.
