Eleftheria Papadopoulou, Regionalmanagerin MediaMarktSaturn Deutschland

You have been working at MMS for many years in various positions. Can you briefly outline your career?  

I started as a trainee at Saturn in 2012. During the trainee program, I was involved in numerous projects, including the reopening and refurbishment of our stores. I then became a management trainee and took over the management of sales at Saturn Hamm in 2016. In 2020, I became a mother and was on parental leave for a year. After my return, I joined the company full-time as Business Excellence Manager. When my regional manager at the time retired, he asked me if I would be interested in his position. I have now been Regional Manager for the North Rhine-Westphalia 1 region since October 2023.

What moment in your career has particularly shaped you and what makes MMS special for you?

At MediaMarktSaturn, I was always encouraged and a lot of trust was placed in me. In no other company have I experienced that employees can take on so much responsibility. This trust in my abilities has always helped me to develop and shape myself – and I have always grown with my tasks. For me, that's what makes MediaMarktSaturn so special.
